About the Recipe

Finding a delicious hummus made without sesame or chickpeas seems impossible, right? Try this recipe and you may disagree! The texture and taste will surprise and delight you, all while providing a nutritious and tasty alternative to sesame and chickpea hummus.

Ingredients

  • 1 zucchini

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 2 tbsp. 100% sunflower butter or pumpkin seed butter

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp. paprika spice

Preparation

Step 1

  • Cut the zucchini into small pieces and place them in a baking pan together with the garlic cloves. Sprinkle little salt and pepper and bake them for 20 minutes at 375F.


Step 2

  • Transfer the zucchini and garlic to the food processor and add the sunflower/pumpkin seed butter, the rest of the salt, paprika spice, and lemon juice.


Step 3

  • Blend together and serve with your favorite snacks.
