Information Collected from Other Sources

We also obtain name, email and voluntary food allergy struggles from other sources, such as Google Forms.

How we use your personal information

Feed Your Can LLC collects such information in order to serve our food allergy community with the right content via emails, podcasts, courses, topics for social media shares, promotions.  It is important that we stay attuned to the right level of customer support and continue to improve website performance.  We will also use personal information for submitting customer transactions through third party secure servers.  We will never use names or stories without express personal consent.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Who We Share Your Personal Information With

Feed Your Can LLC respects your privacy and will never sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties (beyond what is necessary for fulfilling a customer transaction or for the basic functionality of an online service) without your consent.

We do, however, share your name and delivery address details with credit card processors.

This data sharing enables them to deliver the products you ordered directly to you. Those third-party recipients are based outside the European Economic Area or the UK — for further information including on how we safeguard your personal data when this occurs, see Transfer of your information out of the EEA, UK below.

Feed Your Can LLC may release personal information to enforce its Website Terms and Conditions of Use, other Terms and Conditions, manage its business, protect users or the general public, or to otherwise comply with legal obligations.

We will not share your personal information with any other third party.

Whether Information Has to Be Provided by You and Why

The provision of name and delivery address is required from you to enable us to deliver your purchased courses. We do not require you to provide any personal data in order to access the public areas of our website. We will inform you when we collect it whether you are required to provide the information to us.

How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept

We will hold all non-client personal data until you let us know you would like for us to delete it or unsubscribe from our marketing contacts, which you are free to do at any time.  We will hold all client and customer personal data in our files for six years.

These countries do not have the same data protection laws as the EEA or UK. While the European Commission has not given a formal decision that United States provide an adequate level of data protection similar to those which apply in the EEA, any transfer of your personal information will be subject to the derogation in Article 49 permitting non-repetitive transfers that concern only a limited number of data subjects, as permitted by Article 49 of the General Data Protection Regulation that is designed to help safeguard your privacy rights and give you remedies in the unlikely event of a misuse of your personal information.

If you would like further information, (see “How to contact us” below.  We will not otherwise transfer your personal data outside of the EEA or UK, or to any organization (or subordinate bodies) governed by public international law or which is set up under any agreement between two or more countries.)
