About the Recipe

This recipe mixes savory with sweet for an awesome complement. The potatoes are roasted to golden perfection, while the salsa adds a bit of tang. Whether as a side or a tasty snack, it's a surefire accompaniment for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of baby potatoes

  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

  • 1/2 tsp. basil spice

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

  • 1/2 cup tomato salsa

  • 1 tsp. maple syrup

  • pinch of black pepper


Preparation


Step 1

  • Cut potatoes in half. Add potatoes with olive oil, oregano, basil and a little salt in a bowl. Mix well and transfer to a baking pan.


Step 2

  • Preheat the oven to 350F and bake potatoes for 20-25 minutes.


Step 3

  • Mix tomato salsa with maple syrup, salt and black pepper.


Step 4

  • One the potatoes are baked, you can serve them with a small bowl of sauce for dipping.
